Double Degree

A double degree allows students to study two bachelor’s or master’s degrees simultaneously and graduate with two diplomas.

The Prague University of Economics and Business offers several double degree options. Students spend the first part of their studies at their home university and the second part at a partner host university. To earn both degrees, they must meet the graduation requirements of each institution. The duration of study at VSE and the partner university depends on individual program agreements and typically ranges from two to three semesters.

The Double Degree program is supported by VSE at the same level as its exchange programs.

In today’s global world, international business is of extremely high importance. The IBB programme delivers to students extended theoretical as well as practical knowledge and skill that are essential for understanding and doing business at global scale. Students also have strong language skills. After successful graduation, you will easily find employment at mid-level management positions in multinational companies, or you will be qualified enough to start your own business.

As a student of the Bachelor in Interantional Business (IBB) programme, you can obtain a double degree at one of the following universities:

  • University of Vaasa (Finland)
  • OTH Regensburg (Germany)

In both cases, the option concerns students of the 3rd year of study.

International Business – Central European Business Realities (IB) is a two-year (four semesters) full-time Master’s Program. The program was established to address the specificities and characteristics of the Central European business environment within the framework of the increasing trends of globalization. The International Management programme, with the embedded CEMS MIM programme, takes on the best management students who have an excellent academic track record and the potential to take on a senior international management role. a Successful completion of this Master´s programme enables graduates to have unique exposure to the business world while developing sound interpersonal and leadership skills, therefore greatly enhancing their prospects in the field of international business and related markets.

An indispensable part of the studies is a semester spent abroad at a one of 34 CEMS partner universities (joint degree). The alumni obtains the VŠE diploma with title Ing. (engineer) and the CEMS MIM certificate.
