Applications for doctoral programmes can be submitted by May 30

The Prague University of Economics and Business offers nine doctoral study programmes in English for the academic year 2021/22. Applicants may submit an electronic application for doctoral studies in full-time or part-time form by May 30, 2021. The Faculty of Informatics and Statistics organizes also the second round of the admission procedure with a deadline for submitting applications by August 30, 2021.

In contrast to master’s studies, doctoral studies are very individual – you only study what you want and what interests you. There are not many subjects. Participation in conferences, writing articles, assistance in teaching bachelor’s courses and, of course, writing a dissertation awaits you. At the same time, throughout your studies, you are dealing with a topic that you choose yourself and want to explore.
The advantage is a doctoral scholarship, which varies depending on the field of study and faculty. Furthermore, the status of a student even after reaching the age of 26, or the possibility to travel abroad for up to one year.
