Ambassador Sophie (India/USA)

Hi my name is Sophie and I am from India and the US but I was born and raised in the Czech Republic. That fun background makes me a third culture kid which usually means I have a hard time defining where home is but nowhere feels quite as right as Prague.

In fact, that is why I have returned after completing my bachelor’s in Austria. Initially, after I finished my school degree at the International School of Prague, I wanted to experience living in another country, but after three years, I had to come back. I felt like there were still parts of Prague that I had missed out on, so I returned to do a master’s in management here at VŠE.

Some of my hobbies include playing board games, going on walks (especially in nature), and finding delicious restaurants. I also enjoy learning about different cultures which is why I became an ambassador.
