IG Reel Competition 2025 – Meet the Winners

Prague University of Economics and Business (VSE) proudly hosted the first edition of the Instagram Reel competition “My Journey in Czechia” during the Fall Semester 2025/26. This contest was open to all VSE international students, representing more than 25% of VSE student community. This competition aimed to show their unique perspectives on life in Czechia and strengthen VSE international environment. 

Participants shared beautiful videos that captured the essence of studying in Prague—showing that university life is not only about lectures and textbooks but also about friendship, cultural exchange, and exploring Czechia and its neighboring countries. 

VSE Incoming Exchange Office with the VSE Admission Office had a challenging task to select the winners. All winning entries came from incoming Exchange students. The Winners Announcement took place in a festive atmosphere during VSE traditional charity event “Christmas for Everyone”, adding a special touch to the celebration. 

The winning Reels are: 

1st place – „One semester in a lifetime, one life in a semester“ by Erick Oseguera Salinas, incoming Exchange student from Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico) 

2nd place – „My Hong Kong Heart in the Prague World“ by Tsz Kiu Yim, incoming Exchange student from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) / School of Business and Management 

3rd place – „Memories in places“ by Angel Isioma Samson, incoming Exchange student from HAN University of Applied Sciences / International School of Business (Netherlands). 

Due to high number of creative entries, we also decided to award a special prize for an original idea of „The sound of my exchange in Prague“ by Karolina Zozulytė, incoming Exchange student from ISM University of Management and Economics (Lithuania).
