International students visited VSE kindergarten

In a world that’s becoming more interconnected every day, understanding different cultures is an essential part of education. The project, which has been very successful in the past, is back to bring cultural enrichment to local children.

The whole idea revolves around international students visiting VSE kindergarten to present their culture to the little ones.

This week, Rupal, a student of Bachelor of Business Administration programme, presented her home country – India.  The presentation included many activities such as group dances, poems and rhymes. The children learnt basic greetings in Hindi, how to count to five and how to introduce themselves.

One of the highlights was when the children learned about the „bindi“, the red dot that many Indian women wear on their foreheads and had their foreheads adorned with these dots, as well.

Thanks to our international students, of whom there are around 1,300 at VŠE studying English-taught programmes, we will definitely be organising the event again so that the children can learn more about life and cultures outside the Czech Republic.

We can’t wait to see where their next visit will take them!
