Master Programmes
Master’s graduates will be awarded an official diploma/degree certificate complemented by a diploma supplement corresponding to the model developed by the European Commission, Council of Europe and UNESCO. According to the Czech legislation (Higher Education Act), graduates of the International Master Degree Programmes will be awarded the academic degree inženýr (Ing., engineer; two-year programme). Holders of the Master’s degree are entitled to apply for admission to PhD. Programmes. The degree’s abbreviation Ing. is to be used before the name of the graduate.
A two-year (four semester) full-time Master’s Programme in Finance and Accounting (MIFA) taught in English. The original idea of the MIFA programme was to offer a high quality programme for all students who see their future in Finance and Accounting. This became a vision that created an exceptional opportunity for those students that take their future in their own hands. Our mission is to open access to all, who seek a career in an international environment and who wish to become banking and financial services managers, financial analysts, chief accountants, auditors and consultants.

Two-year (four-semester) full-time Master’s program International and Diplomatic Studies (IDS) taught in English covers the fields of international politics, international economy, international law, comparative politics, diplomatic history, as well as diplomatic theory and practice. A strong emphasis is placed on issues regarding the European Union, yet the program includes a variety of optional courses on comparative politics and international relations in other parts of the world, too.

International Business – Central European Business Realities (IB) is a two-year (four semesters) full-time Master’s Program. The program was established to address the specificities and characteristics of the Central European business environment within the framework of the increasing trends of globalization. It provides students with a comprehensive business education in the main fields of economics, management, finance, marketing and negotiations.

The International Management programme, with the embedded CEMS MIM programme, takes on the best management students who have an excellent academic track record and the potential to take on a senior international management role. a Successful completion of this Master´s programme enables graduates to have unique exposure to the business world while developing sound interpersonal and leadership skills, therefore greatly enhancing their prospects in the field of international business and related markets.
An indispensable part of the studies is a semester spent abroad at a one of 34 CEMS partner universities (joint degree). The alumni obtains the VŠE diploma with title Ing. (engineer) and the CEMS MIM certificate.

The aim of this master programme is to provide students with knowledge and abilities in the area of economic data analysis. This covers many topics related to data acquisition, data processing, data dissemination and communication, data analysis including advanced statistical and econometric modelling and working with specialised statistical and econometric software as well.

- EDA combines the best of both programmes.
- EDA has still two specializations: Master in Official Statistics (MOS) and Data Analysis and Modelling (DAM, former QEA).
- EDA students choose their specialization during their first semester.
- EDA students can either take part in an intership (MOS) or in an exchange semester (DAM, optional).
- EDA´s specialization MOS has been internationally accredited with the EMOS label, awarded by the European Statistical Commmittee.

Master of Economics and Public Policy (EPP) is a two-year master’s program taught in English which brings interactive and personal educational experience geared toward student success. The program provides students with theoretical knowledge and advanced analytical skills required to work as a leader in economics, jurisprudence and other social disciplines with a special emphasis on international economics and politics. Graduates of this program will be prepared to work at the leading positions for organizations in both the private and public sector or become self-employed.
