A cozy hot chocolate in Prague

We all have our own little traditions and things we like to do to when winter comes. For me that is definitely hot chocolate. So now that it’s almost December and Christmas is upon us, I want to share my favourite hot Chocolate spots around Prague that are perfect for a cozy time.

Starting with my favourite spot:

  1. Café Louvre: This café is big and serves many more things. It has an almost royal and elegant feel to it. It is perfect for a brunch date or even a cozy evening. Hot chocolate here is very thick and serves with cream. They also have a range of pastries and other breakfast/food items. I highly recommend it; I have the best memories here.
  2. ChocoCafe: Although I haven’t been here myself yet, I have heard good things about this café. It has 4.7 stars on Google and they also serve cake/pastries. The hot chocolate here is very rich and thick. The hot chocolate that is served is excellent. In addition to hot chocolate with chilli powder, other options include ice cream, berries, bananas, brandy, rum, and much more. The café offers two sugar-free (sweetened with maltitol) options and a white hot chocolate.
  3. Café Savoy: with 4.3 stars on google reviews they serve two types of hot chocolate. The “Savoy hot chocolate” comes from the Dominican Republic and is made with heated milk. It is a staple of Jan’s favorite Savoy breakfast. “Savoy dessert hot chocolate” is the second variety, which is prepared with hot water and Valrhona chocolate. Whipped cream is supplied alongside, which you can melt into the chocolate in the cup.

Here are some more that I want to try this winter!

  1. BON BON (Čokoládovna): 4.3 starts on Google reviews
  2. Cafe Ebel: 4.8 stars on Google reviews
