Application Deadlines
The application process opens every year on December 1 and closes on April 30.
Exception:
- Bachelor of Business Administration: closes on June 10
- Economic Data Analysis, Information Systems Management and International Management CEMS MIM: two intakes – Feburary 28 and April 30

University Closing Days & No Classes Days 2022/2023
The university is closed on Sundays and on Czech public holidays:
- September 28 – Day of the Czech Statehood
- October 28 – Foundation of the Independent Czechoslovak State
- November 17 – Struggle for Freedom and Democracy Day and International Students’ Day
- December 24 – Christmas Eve
- December 25 – 1st Christmas Holiday
- December 26 – 2nd Christmas Holiday
- January 1 – Restoration Day of the Independent Czech State
- April 7 – Good Friday
- April 10 – Easter Monday
- May 1 – Labour Day
- May 8 – Liberation Day
- July 5 – Saints Cyril and Methodius Day
- July 6 – Jan Hus Day
There are also other occasions when classes and office hours are cancelled, although the university premises are open: the traditional Rector’s Sports Day – held usually in April – and Dean’s Day(s) – dates may vary every academic year and depend on the decision of the dean of the respective faculty.
