The new bachelor programme brings a unique blend of both – finance and accounting. It gives you the advantage of connecting the two complementary fields to gain a more complex understanding of the business world. The BIFA programme provides students with a deep understanding of fundamentals and modern methods in Corporate Finance, Investments, Financial and Management Accounting, Law, Taxation and ICT in business. Thus, training students to become valuable members of financial and accounts teams in global or local businesses.

The lectures are structured in a modern, dynamic way to give students practical insight into the topics. Teaching in intensive blocks allows students to focus deeply on one subject while exploring its practical impacts.

ACCA Accredited

The BIFA programme is accredited by the globally recognised Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). Students graduating from the programme are eligible for the ACCA Higher Diploma in Accounting and Business and may become a Certified Accounting Technician (CAT). The students will obtain exemptions from the ACCA Exams:

In today’s global world, international business is of extremely high importance. The IBB programme delivers to students extended theoretical as well as practical knowledge and skill that are essential for understanding and doing business at global scale. Students also have strong language skills. After successful graduation, you will easily find employment at mid-level management positions in multinational companies, or you will be qualified enough to start your own business.

As a student of the Bachelor in International Business (IBB) programme, you can obtain a double degree at one of the following universities:

An English bachelor degree programme Economics (ECON) has been firstly opened at the Faculty of Economics, the primary Faculty at the Prague University of Economics and Business in the academic year 2012/2013. The International Management programme, with the embedded CEMS MIM programme, takes on the best management students who have an excellent academic track record and the potential to take on a senior international management role. a Successful completion of this Master´s programme enables graduates to have unique exposure to the business world while developing sound interpersonal and leadership skills, therefore greatly enhancing their prospects in the field of international business and related markets.

An indispensable part of the studies is a semester spent abroad at a one of 34 CEMS partner universities (joint degree). The alumni obtains the VŠE diploma with title Ing. (engineer) and the CEMS MIM certificate.

The aim of this master programme is to provide students with knowledge and abilities in the area of economic data analysis. This covers many topics related to data acquisition, data processing, data dissemination and communication, data analysis including advanced statistical and econometric modelling and working with specialised statistical and econometric software as well.

• • EDA combines the best of both programmes.
  • EDA has still two specializations: Master in Official Statistics (MOS) and Data Analysis and Modelling (DAM, former QEA).
  • EDA students choose their specialization during their first semester.
  • EDA students can either take part in an intership (MOS) or in an exchange semester (DAM, optional).
  • EDA´s specialization MOS has been internationally accredited with the EMOS label, awarded by the European Statistical Commmittee.
