My name is Vipassana, but I go by Anna among my friends for the sake of simplicity.

Hailing from Bengaluru, India, often called the Silicon Valley of India, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Information Science and have spent four years in the IT industry, specializing in business analysis and project management. During the pandemic, I pursued a Master’s degree in Operations Management while continuing to work. Recognizing the need for a lifestyle change and a desire to explore the world beyond my homeland, I embarked on a journey to further my education in a foreign land.

After thorough research and consultations with peers and family in Europe, I found the Prague University of Economics and Business the ideal institution to continue my studies. The transition to a new environment has been exhilarating, offering me a unique perspective distinct from my homeland. Currently enrolled in the master’s program in Information Systems Management (ISM), I was drawn to this course because it perfectly aligns with my academic background and professional experiences. In my first year, I discovered that each course in this program mirrors the latest industry trends, and the seminar sessions provide valuable opportunities to delve into course content, enhancing individual and teamwork skills.

Prague University of Economics and Business is not merely renowned for its exceptional courses and curriculum; it also fosters a vibrant campus life. I am also proud to share that I have secured an internship with a European company, allowing me to blend my academic pursuits seamlessly with real-world experience. Balancing my studies and job responsibilities has been a rewarding challenge that I have successfully embraced.
